Today we did the last rehersal, my bit was ok and the group in general too. I still find myself unconfident about English,is rather unbeliveable after five years here. Anyways, that was it.

Individual timing

This last two days preparing the presentation. Squeezing the squeezed. It seems that the language is not jargon, but neither is common. I timed myself and is less than ten minutes, taking in consideration my fast speaking. And that was it.

Business Modelling

I finish the model on Stella it works smoothly, it is simpler and it is clear. I u sed the costs that William provided me. We have just to prepare the presentation, and to polish a little the whole report. It looks that there are some overlapping, and also it looks quite long.

Adds-on

I decided to definitively include the System Dynamics analysys to emphatisize and highlight strength and weaknesses of or approach ( Never enough to sell ourselves). I also started to work on Stella, how easy is to forgot what is difficult to learn. Anyway, I don’t think I’m going to make anything really complicated just showing the three main incurring costs for the client; data bandwidth, data storage and computer processing should be enough

Polishing Words

Today I finish my part of the group report. I had two main objectives on the writing, show the client the benefits of our approach, and make thoughtful comparisons against the client-server solution. By showing the weaknesses, and specially the statement that our proposition is cost efficient, it will give our team competitive advantage. I don’t believe the other group is going to think about this.
On the other hand, it has been quite difficult to squeeze two weeks research, in a short document, plus I tried to focus my writing in showing solutions rather than how much I have researched, but it hasn’t been an easy task.

From Strategy to Implementation

Last days have been occupied to ensure that content and features that are going to be implemented in the website fits with our overall strategy. Furthermore research shows that using peer to peer technology on online communities is the real challenge, since bring not just economical benefits, but helps to stabilize the social network. Ill explain this thoroughly in the document that we will hand to the client.
